Beyond Research

Outside research, I enjoy cinema, television, and Persian music. I return to stories with compelling characters, sharp dialogue, thoughtful drama, and humor—and to music shaped by expressive vocals and poetry.

Personal reflections

I appreciate films and television for the different ways they explore decisions, relationships, and complicated characters. My interests span suspenseful thrillers, character-driven dramas, and science-centered comedy. I also enjoy Persian music, particularly the connection between expressive singing and poetry.
